Coppermine Crossing Neighborhood
Oak Hill/Herndon, Virginia 20171
Coppermine Crossing is situated amongst the town of Herndon, the Dulles Airport, and the Reston Town Center. Conveniently located off of the Dulles Toll Road, Rt 28, and the Fairfax County Parkway, commuting to and from the area has its perks. One of these being that the community is on the Fairfax Connector bus route and is less than two miles from a “Park ‘n Ride” facility. Additionally, the community is surrounded by schools, restaurants, retail, commercial office and professional service centers.
Coppermine Crossing is a small community broken up into two sections of about 430 townhomes and townhome condominiums. The townhomes were built by Pulte and are located at the western end of Coppermine Road. The townhome condominiums were built by K. Hovnanian and are located at the intersection of Coppermine Road and Centreville Road.
While the community does not have a community center or pool, it does have walking trails, tot lots, and backs to a wooded preservation area. This is technically two separate communities with separate homeowner associations, however due to their proximity and similarity, these are often grouped together.
