Nestled amongst the town of Herndon, the Dulles Airport, and the Reston Town Center is McNair Farms. Once the McNair Family Dairy Farm, this large, planned community rests on 264 acres in the heart of western Fairfax County. McNair Farms is comprised of single-family homes, townhouses, condominiums, and rental apartments and is surrounded by schools, restaurants, retail, and service centers. You don’t have to go far outside of this community to find just about anything you are looking for. Conveniently located off of the Dulles Toll Road, Rt 28, and the Fairfax County Parkway, commuting to and from the area has its perks. One of these being that the community is on the Fairfax Connector bus route and is less than two miles from a “Park ‘n Ride” facility.

The community is governed by a master homeowners association (McNair Farms Community Association) which gives its residents access to a community center, swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, tot-lots, and walking/jogging/biking trails. Additionally, due to its size, the community is broken into neighborhood associations (called Landbays), which handle more day-to-day operations of the individual neighborhoods (snow removal, ground maintenance, trash removal, etc).
